Poppy

This is Poppy, He is a very cute gnome that we found while out on one of our many adventures. 

He agreed to let me interview him for this post.

Poppy lives in many places, he travels from day to day.

He Likes eating Tacos and playing the ukulele 

He is very shy, but loves making new friends.

He often gets mistaken for the troll under the bridge, but he is very nice and it makes him sad to be misunderstood.

He has secretly always wanted to be a model, so we let him do a photo shoot. 

So, next time you are crossing his bridge, stop by and say hello to Poppy, because he would love to meet you!!

Wonderful Wonder

The works of His hands declare His glory  - Psalm 19:1 

"What is even better than watching the sunrise?" you ask.

Watching the sunrise on the beach.

I absolutely love staring, amazed at that which he created..

I think the simple sunrise is one of the many things we humans take for granted. This amazing show God puts on for us EVERY morning, and we don't appreciate it.

Stunningly beautiful!!

Painting it purple

This past Christmas break I took on a large project: 

I wanted to redecorate my bedroom. 

I Wanted something, smaller, simpler, and more grown up. so we decided that I would switch bedrooms with my brother. 

Here is the story of how we painted it purple. :)

This was my room before. I shared it with my sister.

Here is my new room, previously inhabited by my brother.

  

But we had to do something about the color!!

I had a friend over to help

We took everything apart..

 We filled all the holes with spackle.

 Now it is time for the paint!!

 Purple, My favorite color!

 Time for the war paint :P

 My mother did the areas close to the ceiling and baseboards

 And we filled the rest in. 

We had a LOT of fun in the process!

By 3 AM we were pretty tired. 

 But we were almost done. 

Ta-da!! I am really happy with my new abode.
