Clifty

On vacation, we visited Clifty to go hiking and see the falls. 

there was a beautiful view!!

I had stopped to wait up for the slower siblings and text a friend about how we were lost.

 Here are a few shots from before we headed to Madison.
we left Richmond and drove 3 hours to Madison to visit friends of ours.

The next morning, we prepared to go hiking, While our friend finished some studying.

somewhere on the mountain we took a wrong trail and ended up getting a bit lost. so instead of the short and sweet hike we came for, we ended up hiking around 7 miles of rough terrain.

 We discovered the maps once we got ourselves all the way back to the information center..oh well, it made for an fun adventure.

  after we grabbed a bite to eat, we headed back to Clifty. While everyone else was too tired to hike down to  see the actual falls, Preston agreed to accompany me.

After Hiking, we headed back to town to do some window shopping and grab some blue bell

Well I would be lying if i said that Clifty wasn't an adventure.. I Had a blast..detour and all.
